Place potatoes in 8-inch square glass baking dish; cover. Microware on 100% POWER for 6 to 7 minutes, or until steaming hot, stirring once.
Combine eggs and cream in 1-quart glass measuring bowl; beat well. Add cheese, chives, salt, pepper and ham; stir into potatoes. Cover with wax paper.
Microwave on 50% POWER for 12 minutes, rotating dish once. Then, cook on 100% POWER for 3 to 4 minutes, or until set.
Let stand 5 minutes; cut into squares to serve.
YIELD: 9 servings.
